WHAT WE BELIEVE

The basic doctrine of GCBC is that the Bible, as originally written, is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and should be interpreted literally unless a symbolic meaning is either clearly meant or declared in Scripture itself, as in the parables of Jesus. All man-made doctrine is to be examined in the light of Scripture.
