Attributes of God

1. GOD IS HOLY: He is set apart, sacred, pure, free from sin.

2. GOD IS IMMUTABLE: He never changes His character.

3. GOD IS SOVEREIGN: He is the creator of the universe and the angelic hosts and has supreme authority over everyone and everything.

4. GOD IS JUST: He is absolute justice—totally fair in everything and with everyone. Psalm 7:11; 33:5; Romans 9:14; 2 Thess. 1:5; 2 Timothy 4:8

5. GOD IS ETERNAL: He has no beginning and no end. He is outside of time.

6. GOD IS TRUTH: He does not lie. He does not break His promises.

7. GOD IS RIGHTEOUS: He does not do or cause anything wrong or evil.

8. GOD IS OMNIPOTENT: He is all-powerful, limited only by His other attributes and things He voluntarily puts outside His control (e.g., free will).

9. GOD IS OMNISCIENT: He knows all things and all possible things. Nothing can be hidden from Him. Psalm 147:4-5; Hebrews 4:12-13

10. GOD IS OMNIPRESENT: He is everywhere—He is Spirit.

11. GOD IS LOVE: Agape—perfect, infinite, unending, and unconditional love.
